In honor of Print and Promo’s “Women in Print Issue,”
we thought we’d feature some of our women in print right here!
We have a proud tradition of women in print at PFF with women in production, prepress, sales, accounting, and customer service.
Including two 4th generation women of print families.
Pocket Folders Fast CEO, Mardra Sikora, has fond memories of growing up around a print shop and her grandmother working both in an office and on equipment. (More of those experiences are featured here in Family, Business, and Grattitude.) You can also learn more about our prepress manager, Jamie Fredrickson, from this feature article in the 2018 issue of “Women in Print.” And check out this feature on Sam Wright, Business Development Manager, in the “40 under 40″ 2019 issue.
Today, we’d like to introduce you to one of our production craftswomen, Jennifer Miller.
Jennifer joined the Pocket Folders Fast team in 2018 and began on the Kama foil stamp and die cutter. In addition to her work as a craftswoman on foil/emboss projects, she also works in the bindery department as well as on special projects as needed.
After one year in print and ten years on machinery/production, she says her favorite part of her job here is the variety. She likes the challenges that new clients bring, and appreciates the opportunity to impress our clients.
“Every job is unique with its own challenges. Some days may be more difficult, but those days help me become better at my craft.”
Jennifer credits her mother with the lessons that hard work and dedication are what bring success in career and overall life-goals. “She is my #1 supporter and I hope that one day I can be as successful as her.”
Jennifer told us her dream as a child was to, “Be a Rock Star!”
“A strong woman with a passion to keep learning makes anything possible.” – Jennifer Miller, Pocket Folders Fast
It’s that attitude that makes Jennifer a rock star on our team every day!
